Mandatory Tournaments for WTA

The WTA is now planning on copying the ATP Tour’s system of "mandatory" tournaments and will be finalizing the details in November. New President Stacey Allaster is excited at the prospect and the WTA has already approved the "mandatory premier play group".
I cannot wait to start hearing comments from the players about this new system. Hopefully, the players will be able to cut back on the rest of their season or else there will be a lot of unhappy players being forced to participate in events. So many changes are occuring not only in the WTA, but recently much controvery has occured in the ATP tour due to the upcoming doubles changes.
