Tatiana Golovin out at least a month with sprain

France’s Tatiana Golovin will be out for four to six weeks with a sprained ankle injury and will miss France’s upcoming Fed Cup tie against Italy.

Golovin tore two ligaments in her left ankle during her semifinal match on Thursday against Maria Sharapova at the NASDAQ-100 tennis tournament in Miami, Florida. Golovin was forced to retire from the semifinal match at 6-3, 6-7 (5), 4-3.

Tatiana Golovin last played Fed Cup for France in 2004.
