Kim Clijsters engaged to American basketball player

World No. 2 and reigning U.S. Open champion Kim Clijsters has announced her engagement to American professional basketball player Brian Lynch.
Clijsters, who recently lost in the first round of the NASDAQ-100 Open, wrote the following in her online diary:
Brian and I are engaged! we don’t have a specific date for the marriage yet, but we’ll think about it later this year. But most likely this should be somewhere next year.
