Dinara Safina and Michaella Krajicek will meet tomorrow in the Ordina Open ladies final.
Safina, who is currently at No. 17 in the world, edged past Greece’s Eleni Daniilidou 6-3, 3-6, 6-4.
Michaella Krajicek scored one of the biggest wins of her career when she knocked out top seeded Elena Dementieva in their semifinal tennis match also today in ’s-Hertogenbosch, Netherlands. Krajicek’s 1-6, 7-6(5), 6-4 win over Dementieva was not without drama; Dementieva claims that the win was based on unfair umpires and linesmen.
“I feel like I won this match. I think the line umpires were trying to help her during the whole game,” Dementieva told Reuters.

“I understand she was playing at home and the crowd want her to be in the final and it’s good for the tournament but, you know, it must be fair play.”(source: Sportal.com)
Whether or not Dementieva is right remains to be seen. The article goes on to say that Dementieva had plenty of chances to take control of the match, including a match point. Regardless, Dinara Safina and Michaella Kriajicek will be in the final tomorrow in the Netherlands.
