Welcome to Wimbledon! Only minutes into the start of the 2006 Championships, the action at Wimbledon has already been halted due to rain. At this point, the main four courts have been covered, but some tennis is still being played on some of the outside courts.

With less than one hour of tennis played so far today, Kim Clijsters is up a break against Vera Zvonareva 5-4, Martina Hingis has the first set in her match against Olga Savchuk 6-2, Daniela Hantuchova and Maria Elena Camerin are on serve at 5-4, and Jamea Jackson just recovered from being down a break against Kirsten Flipkens 4-5.
