Five Tennis Players to Watch at Cincinnati

Colleen Kane at The Enquirer has written an article on the five women to watch at this week’s Western & Southern Financial Group Women’s Open tennis tournament in Cincinnati, Ohio.

Marion Bartoli, Tatiana Golovin, Sania Mirza, Shenay Perry, and Bethanie Mattek made the cut on her selection list, but I am not sure why she left off Patty Schnyder, Anastasia Myskina, or even Serena Williams - the players that actually may have a shot at winning the title. Perry and Mattek need all the media publicity they can get, especially as they may be the face of American tennis for the next few years, but Bartoli and Mirza are long-shots at best.

You can read the article at The Enquirer website.
