Serena Williams crushes Myskina in comeback match

Serena is back, and the rest of the women on the Sony Ericsson WTA Tour had better pay attention.
Former world No. 1 Serena Williams, who is ranked at a lowly No. 139 in the world, needed less than one hour to blitz past No. 2 seed and world No. 11 Anastasia Myskina in straight sets tonight at the Western & Southern Financial Group Women’s Open in Cincinnati, Ohio. Myskina, who I thought would at least give Serena a tough match, folded meekly in a crushing 6-2, 6-2 defeat.
I did not get a chance to watch Serena’s performance, as neither The Tennis Channel, Mediazone, or ESPN decided the match was worth broadcasting, so I have no clue how much Serena’s fitness and performance has improved since she was last spotted in a competitive match. However, the scoreline and stats pretty much speak for themselves. She held serve throughout the match, broke Myskina four times, fired five aces, and only made one double fault. That is some pretty incredible playing for someone who has not competed since January.
