Hantuchova and Mirza out at Bank of the West Classic

Shenay Perry has not lost the momentum that propelled her to the fourth round at Wimbledon earlier this month, as her latest victim on the tennis courts was Slovakia’s Daniela Hantuchova at the Bank of the West Classic last night. Perry knocked out the fifth seed in three sets 6-2, 0-6, 6-3.
Sania Mirza has still not managed to find her game and was ousted in the first round also last night. Qualifier Vasilisa Bardina of Russia blitzed past Mirza in straight sets 6-3, 6-2.
