Kim Clijsters wins title at Bank of the West Classic

Kim Clijsters won her second Sony Ericsson WTA Tour title of the 2006 season after handily defeating Patty Schnyder in straight sets 6-4, 6-2 today at the Bank of the West Classic in Stanford, California.
Clijsters dominated the match from the start and she easily powered her way past an erratic Schnyder. Her consistency and accurate forehands were no match for the Swiss and Clijsters sealed the win on her first match point with a blistering ace. This was Kim’s fourth title at the Bank of the West Classic and her thirty-second career title overall.
