Patty Schnyder storms past Dementieva at San Diego

Patty Schnyder earned a spot in the semifinals of the Acura Classic today with a straight sets victory over Russian Elena Dementieva.
Schnyder, who is ranked at No. 8 in the world, rolled past Dementieva 6-4, 6-3, bringing her career record against Dementieva to 6-5.
She will face off against the winner of the Mary Pierce/Maria Sharapova match tomorrow in the semifinal at San Diego.
