Serena Williams will play her opening round match against Maria Kirilenko tonight at the JPMorgan Chase Open in Carson, California. Kirilenko, who is close friends with her fellow Russian Maria Sharapova, pushed Serena to three sets in their only meeting at Roland Garros in 2004.
Tennis legend Steffi Graf will be joining her husband, Andre Agassi, on court in December for the Genworth Children’s Advantage Classic in Richmond, Virginia. (Agassi, Graf will return for Richmond benefit)
