Aces and Faults: Lindsay Davenport to face Samantha Stosur Today

Lindsay Davenport will play her comeback match today at the JPMorgan Chase Open against current doubles No. 1 Samantha Stosur this afternoon. Stosur, who is co-ranked at No. 1 with her teammate Lisa Raymond, has only faced Davenport twice in the past and both times the Australian lost in straight sets.

Serena Williams easily advanced to the second round of JPMorgan Chase Open with a convincing 6-2, 6-1 win over Russian Maria Kirilenko last night. Williams, who is the same half of the draw as Lindsay Davenport, will face Ashley Harkleroad in her next match.

Anastasia Myskina scored her first hardcourt win of the season when she knocked out Alicia Molik in straight sets 7-6(5), 6-3 yesterday at the Nordea Nordic Light Open in Stockholm, Sweden. Swedish hopeful and No. 4 seed Sofia Arvidsson also advanced in three. (Myskina shakes off Molik)
