Shahar Peer gets a blog and a tennis coach

Israel’s Shahar Peer is blogging for the Sony Ericsson WTA Tour this week at the JPMorgan Chase Open in Carson, California.

Peer is currently ranked at No. 25 in the world and is entered into the singles draw, as well as the doubles competition with France’s Marion Bartoli.

One interesting tidbit from Peer’s blog so far was the fact that she has indeed hired a new tennis coach. She fired David Peterson only a few weeks ago, but has now said that she is working with Jose Higuera.
