Lindsay Davenport rehires Adam Peterson as tennis coach

Lindsay Davenport may have lost yesterday at the JPMorgan Chase Open, but that does not mean that she is not willing to do whatever it takes to get her game back to the top.
The 3-time singles Grand Slam champion has just rehired her old coach, Adam Peterson, on a full-time basis. Davenport had originally parted ways with Peterson in December, before hiring David DiLucia, a former All-American tennis player. In all fairness to DiLucia, he probably never had much a chance to work with Lindsay, as she has been on the injury list since March. Either way, DiLucia was recently sent packing and Peterson is back as her tennis coach, no small thanks to her husband Jon.
She also recently rehired Adam Peterson as her coach, at her husband’s urging.
“He called Adam up and was talking to him. He lives 15 minutes away,” Davenport said. “Adam tried working with another player and that didn’t work. He was home and I was home. Where I am right now, he’s perfect for me.”

“Adam tried working with another player and that didn’t work.” Shahar Peer showed Peterson the door after just six weeks.
