Martina Hingis reaches Montreal final, rain suspends 2nd semifinal action

Martina Hingis is through to the final of the Rogers Cup tennis tournament after her opponent Anna Chakvetadze retired with an arm injury yesterday. Hingis led Chakvetadze 6-3, 3-1 when Chakvetadze retired.
The second semifinal has not yet been completed because of inclement weather at Montreal. Ana Ivanovic led Dinara Safina 6-1, 3-4 when the match was suspended due to rain. The match will resume at 11:00AM today, followed by the singles final.
