Yesterday did not produce any big upsets, but I think we may see a couple of seeds facing elimination today. I like Azarenka's chances of knocking out Myskina, especially as she pushed Anastasia to three really close sets earlier this season. Myskina has not been playing well over the past couple of weeks, and Grand Slams have been a huge problem for her since she won Roland Garros in 2004.

Mary Pierce came back from her foot injury, only to be sidelined by another injury in her thigh, so Elena Vesnina has a great shot at upsetting last year's finalist. Vesnina has been vaulting through the rankings this season and if she gets past Pierce, she may have a chance of reaching the fourth round for a match against Sharapova.

I think the matches will mostly be pretty much straight forward. I am not obviously putting a lot of money on Petrova, but I beleive she will grind out her first win in a while. Possible upset could be the Mattek v Hantuchova match. Mattek has been playing some great tennis lately, obviously loves all the support she gets in USA!!!
