US Open Tennis Schedule for Saturday, September 2

The remnants of Ernesto are scheduled to pass over the grounds at the US Open which means that today’s tennis action is tenative at best. The outer bands of the storm started to move through this part of New York last night, with the temperature dropping, and a light, but persistent rain caused Lindsay Davenport’s match to be postponed till this afternoon.
Davenport’s chances of actually playing that match today are not looking particulary good, as well as anyone else’s chances of playing before this evening, but you can never be 100% sure of when the skies will finally start to clear.
