Beautiful Morning for Tennis at the US Open

The US Open

NEW YORK — Good morning everyone! It is completely amazing what an night of rest will do for all the people on the grounds of the US Open. The sun is shining, people are smiling, the players are warming up for the start of the day, and it looks like a beautiful day of tennis will be taking place.

My schedule for the day looks pretty full, and I am off to catch Lindsay Davenport’s three day late third round match on the beautiful Grandstand court, some of the Golovin/Petrova match which looks to be a tough test for the now resurgent Petrova, Amelie Mauresmo taking on Mara Santangelo, Serena trying to avoid an upset by Ana Ivanovic, Mary Pierce fighting power for power against Na Li, and finally Maria Sharapova thrilling the crowds in the evening session.

Be sure to come back throughout the day for more updates - In case you have not heard about our special US Open contest, be sure to click here to find out how to enter.
