NEW YORK — The USTA has just announced plans for a free, live webcast of the US Open on Labor Day.
Tennis fans will be treated to a first-ever online special that will show the full USA network television coverage, including the USA announcers and unfortunately, the commercials. (After all, someone has to pay for all that bandwidth!)
The webcast will begin at 7:00PM ET on Monday, September 4th and will also include a special sweepstakes where fans can win a 2006 US Open hat or a much grander prize of two tickets to the 2007 tournament. The coverage is only available for fans in the United States and can be found at www.USOpen.org.
