US Open Tennis Schedule for Wednesday, September 6

For the third time, Lindsay Davenport’s match has been delayed due to rain at the US Open. She was scheduled to take on Justine Henin-Hardenne in the evening quarterfinal match last night, but once again the rains halted the tennis action on the grounds of Flushing Meadows.
Besides Justine and Lindsay, Amelie Mauresmo and Maria Sharapova will be battling for spots in the semifinals also today. Coverage starts at 11:00AM ET on the USA Network.
Key Matches
(12) Dinara Safina vs. (1) Amelie Mauresmo
(10) Lindsay Davenport vs. (2) Justine Henin-Hardenne
(27) Tatiana Golovin vs. (3) Maria Sharapova
Also, seeing my idea of a live chat was blown by the rain delay, let’s try it again today once the women take to the court after Andy Murray/Nicolay Davydenko and Marat Safin/Tommy Haas finish their own matches. Be sure to come back this afternoon where you can post your own thoughts on today’s quarterfinal thrillers.
