Serena Williams is back from Africa and spent yesterday in court with Venus over their breach of contract lawsuit. If they are found guilty of breaching the contract for the alleged “Battle of the Sexes II” exhibition, they could be held liable for over 15 million dollars. (Tennis Stars in Civil Court)

    Interesting about Stevenson. This as well as Barbara Schwartz’ recent retirement certainly bring to mind all those forgotten talents that suffer injury after injury until they have to give up. Hope, disappointment, hope, disappointment…. poor girls.

    Here’s to all of them – may they find happiness outside tennis!
