Have you ever wanted to walk in Jennifer Capriati’s shoes? Well, you have your chance now and just in time for Christmas – as long as you have some extra money to spare.
The days where Jennifer Capriati made a fortune on the Sony Ericsson WTA Tour may be a thing of the past, but the former world number one is now out to make some pocket change on eBay.
Capriati, who has not been seen on a professional tennis court in over two years, is making an appearance on the auction listing site by selling some of her boots, belts, and bags.
Although the auctions are not set up by the three-time Grand Slam champion herself, they claim to be selling the items on her behalf.
“Tennis Great and American Icon Jennifer Capriati is cleaning out her closets! Jennifer has decided to part with some of her Louis Vuitton Bags,†the ad touts.
“This bag would be a great holiday gift for yourself or someone on your list and a great added bonus that a Tennis Champion personally carried this bag.â€

I have to admit the boots are cute – and in my size too. Although, an opening bid of $99.00 is a bit pricey for someone else’s hand-me-downs – even if she is Jennifer Capriati.
You can check out the auction listings here.

I’m gonna take a guess that the eBay user runs a seconds shop in SoFla and that JC def appreciates the confidentiality.
Btw, $100 for Tods boots is a pretty good deal. I’d prob opt for Prada baguette though. ;)
Yeah – $100.00 is a great starting price, but who knows how high the reserve price is for those boots?
I’m curious to see how high the bidding goes, especially for the Prada and the boots. As of right now, the only thing selling is the leopard Prada bag.
Poor Jennifer – if confidentiality is what she wanted – having her name posted all over the auction listings is probably not her idea of privacy.
