Something sparkly and glimmering is usually at the top of any woman’s Christmas list and tennis’ Martina Hingis scored the ring – and man – of her dreams over the holiday season.
Hingis, who has just arrived in the land Down Under for the start of the 2007 tennis season at the Mondial Australian Womens Hardcourts in Gold Coast, Australia, has announced her engagement to ATP tennis player Radek Stepanek.
Hingis declined to be interviewed, but the 26-year-old Swiss player wore a diamond ring when she practised and chatted happily to tour regulars about her engagement.

Czech-born Hingis and Stepanek were reportedly childhood sweethearts before going their separate ways as teenagers.(source: The Courier-Mail)
A wedding date has yet to be announced, but I’m sure the buzz will be humming as soon as Martina and Radek arrive to compete at the Australian Open in Melbourne.
