After three weeks of silence, world number one Justine Henin-Hardenne has finally revealed the official reason behind her pull-out from the Australian Open.

Justine and her husband Pierre-Yves Hardenne have announced that after four years of marriage, they are officially separating.

Henin, who has since dropped the Hardenne surname, has relauched her official website, www.justine-henin.be, and released a statement about her marital problems.

“The last few weeks were difficult for me and my team”, said Henin. “First I must announce to you that Pierre-Yves and I have decided to separate; the reasons are personal.”

She goes on to thank her fans for their support during this difficult time and clarify her upcoming plans for returning to the tour. She has resumed training and will play her first event in Paris at the Open Gaz de France.

Justine, if something is not meant to be, you cannot force matters. life has to go on. if things work out again, still it will be a blessing.

    Remain cool and calm.
