Passing Shots: Maria Sharapova and Nadia Petrova

All is quiet on the tennis front today with the only major news coming out of Doha from the Qatar Total Open.

So, how about enjoying a quick video on two of the WTA Tour’s top stars?

Next week kicks off the start of the American hard court swing at the Pacific Life Open, followed by the mandatory Sony Ericsson Open in Miami.

Indian Wells’ field looks fairly weak on the women’s side, but world number one Maria Sharapova will be leading the charge along with Nadia Petrova.

Even though most of us are familiar with the two Russians, check out this great clip from ESNews on Petrova and Sharapova.

Do you know who Maria would pick to portray herself if her life was ever made into a movie? Or would you rather get a quick lesson in Russian from Nadia? Enjoy!

The Pacific Life Open will be held in Indian Wells, California from March 5-18.
