Tennis News Ticker Launched at On the Baseline

We have a couple of great features planned to debut over the next couple of weeks at On the Baseline and the first to launch is our new sister site, Tennis Ticker.
Over the course of the day, I come across a lot of tennis news and due to time constraints or just the fact that it is not a “big enough” story for its own article, I rarely am able to post about it. A lot of these stories inevitably wind up in the next day’s Aces and Faults.
Now, you won’t have to wait to read all of the latest news or major results.
Introducing OTB’s Tennis Ticker
On the Baseline’s new tennis ticker is conveniently located at www.tennisticker.onthebaseline.com and will be updated throughout the day. All of the major stories will still be included in the following weekday’s Aces and Faults, but this way you can read about it almost as soon as it happens.
The site design is simple and minimalist for fast loading and easy refreshing, plus it contains a dedicated RSS feed that you can subscribe to with your favorite RSS reader. Don’t expect to see full stories here - the ticker is just headlines and links, with the larger articles saved for OnTheBaseline.com.
This feature is definitely not for everyone, but I hope that some of you will enjoy having this new ability and hopefully, this will continue to help make On the Baseline one of the most comprehensive sources for news and commentary on the Sony Ericsson WTA Tour.
