China’s Na Li has joined an ever growing list of tennis players, but not exactly one that she prefers to be on.

Officials at Wimbledon have announced that Na Li has been added to the list of player withdrawals because of a rib injury. She had originally planned to compete at the International Women’s Open this week at Eastbourne, but skipped the event in hopes of recovering by the start of Wimbledon.

There is no word yet on the extent of the injury and how long she will be off the Tour.

Her pull-out opened up the door for French lucky loser Alize Cornet to gain a spot in the main draw.

Other withdrawals include Anastasia Myskina, Vera Zvonareva, Romina Oprandi, and Jie Zheng.

Site Correction: Anna Smashnova was erroneously listed as a withdrawal from Wimbledon a few days ago. The Israeli veteran has not pulled out of the tournament and secured a berth in the main draw after a position became available due to a withdrawal.
