Petrova and Jankovic just went out too, I think the rain is really messing up the top player heads.

What a bummer! Mauresmo had been playing beautifully but that elusive “intensity” that players need to go the distance was lacking in her match against Vaidisova. Hope Mauresmo doesn’t go into a depressed swoon over this defeat. There’s lots of hardcourt ahead.
