Maria Sharapova Leads Fed Cup Semifinal Team Nominations

Regardless of the outcome of today’s meeting between Maria Sharapova and Venus Williams, they may get a rematch next week in the semifinals of Fed Cup.
Sharapova, who has never competed for Russia in Fed Cup, has been added to the Russian Fed Cup roster against the United States for next week’s semifinals in Stowe, Vermont.
Team USA is scheduled to feature Venus and Serena Williams, followed by Lisa Raymond and Vania King.
