What!! Somebody explain to me how Maria won female tennis player of year! Justine made it to the finals of all four grandslams last year, and Amelie won 2 grandslams. How is the justice?

Rankings question— now that Schiavone is lingering in the 30s, who is the current highest ranked player never to have won a tournament? Or is it still her?
