Two of the best clay court players in the history of the Sony Ericsson WTA Tour will be participating in a friendly exhibition tennis match in Mannheim, Germany this fall.
Steffi Graf and Justine Henin are scheduled to compete against each other as part of a children’s festival hosted by Children for Tomorrow, a charity founded and chaired by Graf.
The match will be held at the SAP-Arena on October 27, 2007. All proceeds raised will go to the foundation.
During Graf’s legendary career, she won six Roland Garros titles. Reigning world number one Justine Henin already has four French Open trophies, including three in a row, to her credit.
