The main draw has been released for next week’s East West Bank Classic in Carson, California.
As a Tier II tournament, the draw has a field of fifty-six singles players and sixteen doubles teams.
World number two Maria Sharapova is headlining the tournament as the top seed, followed by Jelena Jankovic, Ana Ivanovic, and Nadia Petrova.
Martina Hingis is the seventh seed and could potentially face the resurgent Sania Mirza in her opening round match.
You can preview the main draw (which is subject to change) at the Sony Ericsson WTA Tour website here.

The link only leads to qualifying singles
draw. Where can I find the main draw. The
tournament web site is doing a poor job
of disseminating information quickly. The
draw party was over at 3.30 yesterday.
Since then, I have been trying to locate
the main draw in the internet in vain.
Help me if you can
Gopal – can you try the link again? When I click on it, it brings up the main draw and the qualifying draw.
Hope that helps!

It works now. However, I cannot believe
that in this day of internet age, I had to
wait for more than 24 hours to see the main
draw. Thanks anyways. I ofcourse have been
constantly checking on the WTA pages.
