Early reports are saying that former world number one Martina Hingis and ATP Tour player Radek Stepanek have ended their engagement.

Hingis, who competed this past week at the East West Bank Classic, has not made an official statement about the break-up, but Radek Stepanek’s camp informed the ATP Tour of the news today.

“He and Martina Hingis have split up but will remain good friends — and that’s all he has to say,” said ATP Tour spokesperson Stephen Duckitt according to the AP.

Martina and Radek became engaged during the 2006 off-season.

Actually Kiwi, Martina has never won Roland Garros.

Stepanek has yet to win a Grand Slam title. His best showing was the quarterfinals of Wimbledon in 2006.

Ewwww! I hate to talk bad about people, but Radek Stepanek is not a good looking person. I can’t believe Martina was engaged to him!
