Hawk-Eye, the International Tennis Federation’s instant replay system, will be making its Fed Cup by BNP Paribas debut at the 2007 Fed Cup finals in Russia.
Although Hawk-Eye has been used at the Australian Open, Wimbledon, and other major events this season, this will be the first time that the challenge system is used at a Fed Cup tournament.
Unlike Grand Slams, Fed Cup challenges will be unlimited per set.
Russia will be hosting this year’s final from September 15-16 against defending champions Italy.
