2004 US Open champion Svetlana Kuznetsova is scheduled to lead the main draw at this week’s Pilot Pen Tennis presented by Schick in New Haven.
Kuznetsova is the top seed at the Tier II event, followed by this year’s Pacific Life Open champion Daniela Hantuchova and Wimbledon finalist Marion Bartoli.
Lindsay Davenport will be making her return to professional tennis this week, although in the doubles competition with her countrywoman Lisa Raymond. The duo received a wild card and will be facing a tough challenge in their opening match against top seeds Cara Black and Liezel Huber.
