The New Haven Register newspaper is blogging live this week from the Pilot Pen tournament in New Haven.
The tournament, which is a joint ATP/WTA Tour event, began on Sunday, and will be showcasing many of the best players on both sides of Tours including crowd favorite James Blake and 2004 US Open champion Svetlana Kuznetsova.
The Pilot’s Blog, as it has been deemed by the Register, will be updated frequently throughout the tournament. The latest entry on the blog is about Lindsay Davenport’s pre-tournament press conference, where she introduced the press to her new son, Jagger Jonathan Leach.
Lindsay Davenport met the media Friday afternoon and did so while holding 2-month-old son Jagger at the podium. The youngster didn’t seem to like the bright TV lights very much, BUT other than that he handled himself very well.
