Second seed Jelena Jankovic took revenge against Lindsay Davenport today by defeating her in straight sets 6-3, 7-5 to reach the final of the China Open in Beijing.
Davenport stunned Jankovic last week in the quarterfinals of the Commonwealth Bank Tennis Classic in Bali on her way to winning her fifty-second career title.
Apart from current world number one Justine Henin, Jelena Jankovic has been the most consistent player on the Sony Ericsson WTA Tour this season. She will be playing in her eighth final of 2007 tomorrow, and has already captured four titles this year.
Facing Jankovic in the championship match in Beijing is rising star Agnes Szavay.
The young Hungarian has played the best tennis of her career over the past two months, finishing as the runner-up in New Haven and as a quarterfinalist at the US Open.
She is seeded sixth at the China Open and reached the final after a solid 6-1, 6-2 defeat of Peng Shuai in the second semifinal today.

Davenport is great, but she has to be feeling her age SOON. lol
