Ana Ivanovic Makes Fantastic Four For Madrid

2007 Roland Garros finalist Ana Ivanovic has qualified for the season-ending Championships, joining Justine Henin, Jelena Jankovic, and Svetlana Kuznetsova.
By virtue of reaching the semifinals today at the FORTIS Championships Luxembourg, Ivanovic scored enough Race to the Sony Ericsson Championships points to qualify for the tournament.
I’m delighted,” said Ivanovic on her official website. “At the start of the season I made this my No.1 goal, so to achieve it is very satisfying. As a professional tennis player, I train for the opportunity to play against the top players, and in Madrid we should have all of the world’s best players there.”
The Sony Ericsson Championships will be held in Madrid, Spain November 6-11. Eight singles players will be eligible to compete, in addition to four doubles teams.
