After eight attempts, Jelena Jankovic is still trying to get the better of Justine Henin.
She had her sixth chance this year to beat Henin, but for the third time in a row, Jankovic succumbed in straight sets.
Playing today in the semifinals of the Porsche Tennis Grand Prix, Henin outlasted the Jankovic assault 7-6(2), 7-5 to reach her ninth final of the 2007 season.
Henin will play Tatiana Golovin on Sunday for the Tier II trophy - and a chance to drive home a Porsche 911 Turbo Cabriolet.
Golovin defeated world No. 2 Svetlana Kuznetsova 6-2, 6-4 in the second semifinal of the day in Stuttgart.
