The saga of Jelena Dokic has just added a brand-new chapter. The former top 5 star has returned to Australia in hopes of reviving her fledging tennis career.

According to Tennis Australia, Dokic has reportedly split with her controversial coach Nikki Pilic, and arrived in Melbourne last weekend.

She is not ranked on the Sony Ericsson WTA Tour rankings anymore, instead seeing only No. 9999 where No. 4 was once displayed.

TA is expected to help her find access to coaching, courts and hitting partners, according to TA Chief Executive Steve Wood.

“As a former world No.4 and Wimbledon semi-finalist we believe she deserves this opportunity to realise her potential,” added Wood.

Australia’s director of player development, Craig Tilley, may meet with Dokic as early as tomorrow.
