Jelena Dokic has returned to her adopted homeland in Australia and is attempting to launch a full tennis comeback.

Since her glory days at No. 4 in the world, Dokic’s life has been a series of ups and downs, including bad relationships with her father and coaches.

She is now back in Melbourne, working with Tennis Australia, which has just published an exclusive interview with her.

Judging from the way she sounds, Dokic is ready to put the past behind her and look only to the future of her life and her career.

I need to put in a good two to three months of hard training and this is the best place to do it.

I am under no illusions. This is going to be very difficult. I am trying to make a full comeback and only a few people like Jennifer (Capriati), Mary (Pierce) and Andre (Agassi) have done it. It is not an easy position to be in, you have to earn respect all over again.
