Serena Williams (5/6) - Serena Williams has returned to the top 5 for the first time since 2005.

Daniela Hantuchova (9/10) - Daniela Hantuchova won the Generali Ladies Linz title on Sunday - and booked herself a ticket to the Sony Ericsson Championships.

Nicole Vaidisova (12/14) - Vaidisova is working hard for a return to the top 10.

Ioana Raluca Olaru (55*/56) - The eighteen year-old Romanian debuted inside the top 55 this morning.

Tatjana Malek (84*/102) - Malek surged inside the top 100 after winning the $100,000 ITF event in Bratislava.

Who’s Down

Nadia Petrova (14/12) - Petrova will need a strong start to 2008 if she is to make Russia’s Olympic singles squad.
