Martina HingisMartina Hingis will challenge the two positive cocaine tests that helped propel her into a second retirement.

Hingis, who did not reveal her plans to clear her name at her press conference last week, will fight the findings of the independent drug-testing laboratory, according to her manager Mario Widmer.

Speaking with BBC Sport, Widmer confirmed that the Swiss Miss has authorized her lawyers to fight on her behalf.

“She will be fighting this, of course,” stated Widmer. “You can be clear about that. The matter is currently with her lawyers.”

Hingis revealed on November 1 that she had tested positive for traces of cocaine in her system after she lost in the third round of Wimbledon on June 29.
