My apologies for taking so long to post the final part of the yearly review! Also, I’ve corrected the errors in the August entry.
September
Agnieszka Radwanska defeated defending champion Maria Sharapova in the third round of the US Open.
Doubles star Paolo Suarez announced her retirement.
Maria Sharapova joined Russia’s Fed Cup team as a practice partner.
Justine Henin defeated Svetlana Kuznetsova for the US Open title.
Lindsay Davenport won the title at the first singles tournament of her comeback in Bali.
Russia defeated Italy for the Fed Cup by BNP Paribas trophy.
The Sony Ericsson WTA Tour revealed plans for a second Championships event.
Doubles player Corina Morariu retired from professional tennis.
October
Tennis Australia announced that the courts at the 2008 Australian Open would be repainted blue.
Justine Henin clinched the season-ending number one ranking.
Martina Hingis ended her 2007 tennis season early because of injuries.
Elena Dementieva upset Serena Williams for the Tier I Kremlin Cup title.
Jelena Dokic returned to Australia in hopes of mounting another comeback.
Justine Henin, Jelena Jankovic, Svetlana Kuznetsova, Ana Ivanovic, Serena Williams, Anna Chakvetadze, Daniela Hantuchova, and Maria Sharapova completed the singles roster for the season-ending Championships. Sharapova qualified because Venus Williams withdrew due to dizziness.
November
Martina Hingis announced her retirement from professional tennis in the face of cocaine use allegations.
Serena Williams retired from the Sony Ericsson Championships because of a knee injury.
Justine Henin ended her solid 2007 season by defeating a resurgent Maria Sharapova for the Sony Ericsson Championships title.

I noticed that you did not include Lindsay Davenport winning Quebec in October. Just wanted to add that as it is quite an impressive accomplishment, winning two titles in her brief return.
