The opening round of the 2008 Fed Cup by BNP Paribas will be aired in the United States on Tennis Channel.
Beginning February 2, Tennis Channel will broadcast live coverage of defending champion Russia vs. Israel and the United States vs. Germany.
Maria Sharapova is scheduled to headline the Russian squad, with three-time Grand Slam champion Lindsay Davenport expected to lead Team USA.
