Schiavone and Penneta losing are much bigger upsets. Davenport's done beating up players in Tier IV events. I think I said it last year around her return that I'm doubtful she's in Top 20 shape and will be lucky to retain a seeding by Wimbledon. This match proves it, she was bullied by an inexperienced 18 year old German. Davenport losing shouldn’t be surprising enough to be in the headlines, really.
