Both finals will be contested on Sunday, with Tennis Channel scheduled to air taped coverage from Paris in the afternoon.

Top seed Anna Chakvetadze overcame an early challenge from Marion Bartoli to beat her third consecutive French player at the Open Gaz de France. Chakvetadze had a bye in the opening round before playing Nathalie Dechy and Amelie Mauresmo. She defeated Bartoli 2-6, 6-2, 6-0.

Facing Chakvetadze in Sunday’s final is rising star Agnes Szavay of Hungary. Szavay dispatched two-time Grand Slam finalist Elena Dementieva in three sets 6-3, 1-6, 7-5.

The Pattaya Women’s Open championship match will be contested between top seed Agnieszka Radwanska and American seventh seed Jill Craybas. Craybas, a 33 year-old veteran on the Sony Ericsson WTA Tour, is playing in her first singles final since winning her only title in 2002.
