The four-time French Open champion has just withdrawn from next week’s Internazionali BNL d’Italia in Rome, the final warm-up event before the Grand Slam.

According to the Associated Press, Henin has pulled out because of fatigue. She will have to pay a $20,000 dollar fine for her late withdrawal from the Tier I event.

Henin lost yesterday to Dinara Safina in the quarterfinals of the Qatar Telecom German Open, her most shocking loss since she was defeated by Marion Bartoli in the semifinals of Wimbledon last season.
