I know things are bad, but they aren't that bad. My prediction is a 3rd round loss to Flavia Pennetta. Venus or Safina will win gold. Venus is a little more vulnerable on the hardcourts. Her groundstrokes aren't nearly as dominant as they are on grass. Serena is a big question mark. I'm not sure if she is 100%. But I don't think she needs to be.
