While it is tough for Davenport and Hantuchova to lose in such a close tiebreak, it is heartening to see that they plan to team up again at Flushing Meadows. I'm certain that I'm not the only person waiting for that "formal announcement" from Davenport, which surely must be forthcoming soon. If she does not announce her plans before the Open, it's not hard to guess what will be the main subject addressed in her press conferences.
